So does anyone know if you can take parts from a SWM frameset that don't have dropouts but have bolts in the seat tube? I want to take the front triangle and have it made into a complete frame. My only fear is I would then have to weld the dropouts back on.
Next issue, I need to find out what Kona's pitch is and if that's something I'd like to use on this frame.
Great to see a SWM frame for less than $400. I am, however, concerned that the frame would not be tall enough. The SWM frames I have seen range from 29 to 30 inches. So my question is, is there a SWM frame that is taller than that?
I am really happy to see this go through. My brother and I built two similar HT's from a SWM HT out of the same tubeset. Both of them were running big time, probably due to using tube diameters of 24 and 25.

The United States and the Philippines are set to hold talks on Tuesday to see how they can coordinate against the Islamic State group amid strained relations between Washington and Manila over the war on drugs, which President Rodrigo Duterte has backed as a means of tackling crime.
The bilateral talks, to be held at the White House, are also expected to discuss plans to build ties in the fields of defense, maritime security, and intelligence sharing between the two countries.
The Philippines, which will also host a regional security meeting in Manila from May 23-24, is expected to seek better intelligence cooperation and mutual defense cooperation with the United States, according to a statement on the foreign ministry's website.
Officials said the planned talks will be part of the eight-nation ASEAN-US Summit and Related Meetings, which Duterte will host at the presidential palace in Manila.

With a week-long delay and a ton of snow on the ground in Buffalo, the World Junior Championship could have been doomed to an early conclusion. It was all but written in the snow-covered standings that the Americans and Canadians would come away with a title in Canada, and Saturday afternoon’s game between Team USA and Team Russia fulfilled that prophecy. The Americans found a way to steal a win on the road in this tournament without having all their regulars in the lineup, something that hasn’t been the case in the last few years. To claim a win in U.S. hockey, you have to score. So in a tournament where you only need to win two games to take it all, these teams won five out of seven. It was a phenomenal performance by the U.S. team, but an even better performance by the Russians.
The game
The Americans came out firing, and for good reason. They were coming off a disappointing loss in the semi-final to Canada the day before, and the hosts took it to them in a 5-3 victory. Puck possession started in the defensive zone more than it did in Canada, and many of those turnovers were quickly turned into shots at the Russian net. The Americans were quick to get shots on goal in the first period, but the Russians were ready for them, and that wasn’t just the result of some superhuman goaltending that kept the puck out of their net. The forwards played a much more structured game with the puck and used their edges to counter the Americans’ speed. The Americans scored first, but the chances were few and far between.
A penalty to Ryan Murphy in the second period gave the Russians a power play. After scoring a second goal on the man advantage, the team regrouped and continued to play with a defensive focus. The puck was kept deep in the offensive zone more than in Canada, and it was paid dividends in the third period. The Americans went on a scoring spree and kept the Russians to just one goal.
